Zero Poverty PH 2030

Zero Poverty PH 2030 (ZeP2030) is a civil society-led coalition committed to improving the incomes and access to essential social services for 100,000 Filipino families by 2030. In line with the Philippines’ commitment to the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ZeP2030 implements an integrated approach to poverty alleviation anchored on four thematic areas: economic development, education, health, and the environment.

Launched in 2015 as Zero Extreme Poverty PH 2030, the initiative initially targeted families living in extreme poverty. In recognition of poverty’s broad and volatile nature, the coalition broadened its focus to include all families living in poverty, while continuing to prioritize those in extreme poverty. This shift, which also saw the coalition evolve into Zero Poverty PH 2030, reflects its commitment to a more inclusive and sustainable approach for reducing poverty.
ZeP2030 operates within the collective impact framework, harnessing the collective strengths, expertise, and resources of its members. To enhance and sustain the impact of its interventions. ZeP2030 works closely with local government units (LGUs) and national government agencies (NGAs), aligning programs with national and local development plans under a shared agenda. Its initiatives are organized around four key result areas: coalition building, local convergence development, external stakeholder partnerships, and monitoring, evaluation, and learning.

Central to its strategy is localization, operationalized through Local Convergences—multi-stakeholder platforms that translate the coalition’s integrated approach into community-driven initiatives that directly address the needs of ZeP2030 families. Local Convenors actively engage stakeholders in planning, implementation, and monitoring to foster ownership and collaboration.
