Environment Cluster

The Environment Cluster, co-led by Forest Foundation Philippines (FFP) and the Foundation for the Philippine Environment (FPE), is focused on helping ZeP2030 families develop resilience against environmental challenges that exacerbate poverty and vulnerability. By advancing practical and community-driven initiatives that promote disaster risk awareness and build local capacity for climate mitigation and adaptation, it aspires to reinforce communities’ ability to withstand environmental shocks while creating a safer and more sustainable future for the next generations.

Indicators

1. Number of families with increased awareness on disaster risk in their communities

2. Number of families participating in capacity building activities on disaster-preparedness or climate mitigation and adaptation (CM/A) activities (e.g., reforestation, mangrove planting, coastal clean-up, solid waste management, sustainable agriculture and agroforestry, etc.)

3. Number of communities with identified CM/A measures and Disaster Recovery Plan
